Every year since 2017, we have offset the amount of CO2 emissions that the Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg Group emits into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n
For the 2023 financial year, we have offset a total of 1,901 tons of CO2 emissions by investing in two South Pole certified projects.<\/p>\n

1. Guanar\u00e9 Forest Restoration – Uruguay: This project transforms degraded pastureland into species-rich forests, increases carbon sequestration and improves biodiversity. It also creates jobs and supports the local economy.<\/p>\n

2. Reforestation of Degraded Land – India: The \u201cForest Farms\u201d project promotes sustainable land use and supports local communities. Over 12,000 small farmers are working to reforest 14,900 hectares of land, helping to combat deforestation and climate change.<\/p>\n
