With the help of the venture capital intermediaries, we can support the German start-up scene while investing in the future of commerce.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Why are we interested in investing in start-ups?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jebsen-jessen.de\/en\/company\/#committed-to-tradition-and-change\">Jebsen &amp; Jessen<\/a> has been a family-run business since 1909. To this day, we count our market knowledge as well as confidence in our own company&#8217;s performance to our greatest strengths.Trade is an active industry and is constantly changing. For this reason, we are open to new, innovative business models from young entrepreneurs who want to encourgae growth of the trade industry and seek to develop it. We are especially interested in start-ups that are not only looking for investors, but also want to be guided by us for a longer period of time, beyond the growth phase, and want tob e supported by our entrepreneurial experience and industry knowledge in logistics as well as distribution.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>What does bridges+links do?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bridges+links is active in the venture capital industry and helps to establish the link between family businesses and start-ups. We appreciate being a part of bridges+links, because we see advantages in a reciprocral collaboration between family businesses and start-ups. As a family business we would like to cooperate with a start-up whose business model is compatible with or related to our business field. With bridges+links, we have found a good partner, since the start-ups we support come from the industry fields of Health, Agrar &amp; ChemTech, Food &amp; Feed Innovation, Industrie 4.0 and Supply Chain Management. The cooperation with the start-ups is based on a mutual relationship: we can adjust or complement the progressive ideas of the young founders with industry know-how and are thus able to change the industry efficiently together.<\/p>\n<p>As an investor, we are particularly interesting for start-ups close to our own market, because our expertise in foreign trade allows us to directly recognize the merits of new, relevant solution approaches and promote them accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are looking forward to working with bridges+links and to collaborate with exciting start-ups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the beginning of the year, we are a motivated member of the bridges+links \u2013 Family Venture network.
