Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg is proud to announce the recent acquisition of Jefferson GmbH, a Hamburg
based textile business that formerly belonged to MPC Group, a diversified family-owned enterprise
active in areas ranging from consumer goods to shipping.
The sales and purchase agreement was signed this February by Jebsen & Jessen, Hamburg, and
MPC Group.
The business of Jefferson perfectly complements the existing textile business of Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg.
Their textile division sustantially enlarged its range of garments in the ladies, men, children clothing, sportswear,
and home textiles fields.
At the same time, Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg affiliate Triton Textile Ltd., Hong Kong, acquired Jefferson`s Asia
operations.
The companies form a great fit and expect to achieve synergy across various business areas.
Jefferson`s team will relocate to Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg`s office in May 2011, where they shall be
warmly welcomed.
